Paras Nath : The Musical Legend


Paras Nath is blessed into the renowned musician family performing traditionally since two and half centuries. Inherited music, Paras has been developed into Shastriya Sangeet (Indian classical music) with his iridescent youth energy and highly matures musical sensibilities for last two decades.



His father Pandit Amar Nath the legendary flautist, music composer and orchestra conductor known for his ‘Vadya Vrind’ orchestral endeavors disciplined his skills and artistic intricacies that blossomed him as a concert player of great merit. He possessed a very good command over flute at very young age. He imbibed the subtle nuances of Banaras Gharana and presents it in a very beautiful artistic pattern. Consistency in Sur and Lay is the hallmark of his art. He passionately establishes his methodical recitals with emphasis on Gayaki Ang in great passion. He is at ease with the light classical modes like thumri, chaiti, dhun and plays them with equal aplomb and telling effects.

His grandfather Pandit Shiv Nath Prasad, the Indian Shehnai maestro who introduced the flute into the family for the first time as well as in his Gharana which otherwise was known for Shehnai play. He has been also blessed with training and guidance of his Mother (Guru Maa) Smt. Meena nath ji. 



Paras had lead 1200 Sitarists on and more than 8000 musicians In World cultural festival on a historical stages performances at New Delhi that holds The Guinness world record. He is well known artist in Film industry along with his successful journey in the world of classical music. He has performed in MTV coke studio season 1,2 & 3.  Zee Saregamapa, Indian Idol, Singing Super star and many more.
