Don't Hate; Appreciate.
**Trust me it gets better**
This morning I was talking to a close friend on the phone listening to her life along with all the details. She was totally excited with her new life, new friends, her relationships, her vacation plans, what she bought for her birthday, everything in a cool manner, with the correct laughs and pauses. It all seemed like a well scripted Bollywood movie to me packed with emotions, drama and poor humour (No I have no issues with Bollywood humour but it's just that I don't get it sometimes).
Anyway, so she was telling me about something (I don't remember what exactly) when I sensed that she was trying really hard to impress me with her life. She wanted me to know that she was leading a wonderful life. I realised that this actually is the reality. Don't we all want our lives to resemble a Bollywood entertainer? Packed with comedy, romance and lots of action (not sure about the last part, but heyy that sounds fun so as well add it).

My point is that we all live a life where we all wish to have every aspect of our lives to look good or grand or both. And why do you think we do this? The reason is quite simple and unavoidable. We crave for those blue ticks, double taps and tons of likes and comments. We want people to notice that we have a successful, happy life. Ah! But that's not what people do! They do the exact opposite. Instead of appreciating someone whole heartily we engage ourselves in judgements and gossips which honestly isn't even worth our time!!
I'm here to not preach but to make a difference. Remember everyone likes to be appreciated and loved. So why not do it? I mean it costs literally nothing. Next time a friend of yours uploads his/ her pictures don't just give a thumbs up, tell them how good they look in the picture or how cool the background is or why you aren't a part of the picture. Oh c'mon follow Nike... I mean Just do it.
