Last year (that is 2017 and not 2016 peeps) I did something I always wanted to do but couldn’t muster the courage. Ultimately I made up my mind, switched off my phone and put it away for the entire day. That’s right. An entire day without my dear smartphone! No social media, no Whatsapp, no texts, absolutely nothing. To my amazement and extreme satisfaction, I spent the entire day enjoying myself. I actually got time to cross out the forever pending things on my to-do-list.
Today, I highly recommend you to take a day’s break from your beloved phone and for once live these 24 hours differently. It’s not that tough and undoable as you think it is.

I’m going to help you achieve it:

1.   Read & write: perfect time sans any distractions.
2.   Paint/draw: Get your inner artist to work.
3.   Catch an early morning movie!
4.   Dance: It will give you the peace your soul needs.
5.   Cook!
6.   Go for a walk; alone, with a buddy or with a pet.
7.   Talk to people in real.
8.   Get a massage.
9.   Just live.
