An open letter…
Dear Life Planners,
Attention! This isn’t a
planned letter so take pride in finding out errors.
The desire to know how you all take up life so seriously that you end up planning every second of it has led me into writing this letter. Even birthday parties aren’t that well planned the way some of you decide things in life. What you forget to understand is that life isn’t meant to be planned but is to be lived.
It really baffles me sometimes to see how you fret over things just because they don’t turn out the way you wish them to. I feel people over plan their lives in order to make sure they are leading a perfect life. I might understand we want to have an error-free life but what I fail to comprehend is that why don’t we once trust our own life and stop trying to take control of it?
Why not let life surprise you often?
Why not let life present your fate in an atypical manner?
Why not let life decided something for you once and not being vice versa?
Why not let life show us things we never imagined?
Why not let life tell us stories we never heard?
Why not let life inject us with thoughts that we never indulged into?
Why not let life introduce us to a distant emotion?
Why not give life a chance to reveal itself slowly and gradually?
Believe me when I say that there is a sense of magic and awe in just sitting back and watching life’s creation unveil at its own pace and time. The beauty of life lies in its undecided moments.
Hence, relax and find solace in the rhythm of life.
