Learning a new language? You are probably smarter than you think!

We live in a hyper-connected, fast-paced world, and things aren’t changing anytime soon. So we need to keep up with the speed to stay in the long run. It is the call of the hour to train our brains according to the world’s crazy needs.
Here are some positive sides of being a bilingual or a multilingual:

*meeting new people*
There are 0 limits on the number of encounters you will have with new people. You would be astonished to know about the amount of knowledge shared and things learned in these encounters!

*it’s great for travelling*

Knowing more than one language opens up more opportunities for you to travel around the Earth. It makes it easier to navigate your way through foreign cities and talking with foreign people.

*know their language, know their culture*

This is no brainer that once you start learning a language, you don’t just learn a language but you acquire knowledge about an independent culture altogether. To have another language is to live life with a renewed perspective.

*after learning one, it’s 100x easier to learn another one*
This one comes from my own personal experience (learning German after 2 years of French). Yes, learning a non-native language is strenuous. But trust me on this; it gets super fun and facile with time.

*you become smarter*
No surprises here. Improved memory, increased attention span, boosts problem solving skills, higher multitasking abilities, makes you more rational and logical, better decision making skills, makes you creative and more confident.

So what are you waiting for? Start learning!! Salut!
