Weekends
Weekends come and go
Time flies by the speed of light
But here you are engrossed in your own
life
Busy completing that presentation,
That lengthy essay or that tedious
excel sheet.
The sun sets and rises but who cares?
Worried you are about getting late,
About that pimple that ruins your
face,
About that mail you are about to send,
About the promotion you didn’t get,
About that test you failed at,
All I want to say is ignore all that.
You can stress on life for all you
want,
Oh no, this isn’t a taunt.
Take a deep breath, slow down
Juggling with your life, turning into a clown.
Take a deep breath, slow down
Juggling with your life, turning into a clown.
The weekend is here so why do you
fret,
It is a holiday, you seem to forget.
Relax, chill, and get a massage.
Try out something different; take your
bike out from the garage.
Turn into a photographer,
Go for an evening stroll.
Have a brunch planned,
Catch that latest movie.
Rejuvenate, motivate and inspire,
Plan and set goals for you to conquer.
Don’t take life so seriously,
Be easy, be breezy and be happy.
So true. Good one dear
